I never studied
abroad as an undergraduate. For a couple years after my junior year, I
regretted the decision and longed to experience another culture. In graduate
school, I finally got the chance to spend over a year in Poland, the
Netherlands, England, Scotland, France, Germany, Singapore and Tokyo over the
course of several different trips, some of them for research and some for
teaching. As much as I learned from classes, reading widely in different
disciplines, and directing plays, no experience I've had has more powerfully
prepared me to open myself to other ways of thinking, creating, and interacting
than travel abroad. more>>

Election Night 2012...where will YOU be?
I was a Junior when I was first able to vote in a Presidential election. I remember receiving my ballot in the mail, following the instructions and submitting it back to my respective county to be tallied. I was excited to be able to participate in the election but I truly didn't realize the importance of this important civic duty until election night. more>>

Students had the opportunity to meet and mingle with the 10 organizations prior to a formal presentation about requirements for membership, the four pillars of fraternity and sorority life, online resources, and introductions from each of the 10 organization presidents. If you didn’t make it to Greek 101 but are still interested in joining the Fraternity & Sorority Community, contact Women's Rush & Orientation Chair - Jen Lewis (ΣΘΤ) and the Men's Rush & Orientation Chair - Derek Tinker(ΩΦ).
