October 2013

Dr. Kyle Gillette, Class Marshal for the Class of 2015, was unable to contribute to this issue of the newsletter primarily because he is consumed with the opening of The Haunted House a play he is directing at the Overtime Theater.  This production of Plautus’ The Haunted House, a sex farce, has a strong Trinity connection.  In addition to Dr. Gillette’s direction it is adapted by Dr. Thomas Jenkins of the Classics Department and the cast includes several individuals with Trinity affiliations.  Dr. Gillette invites everyone (high school age and above) to come see the show between September 20 and October 19.

Hi Class of 2015,

I hope the semester has started out well for you.  On behalf of the alumni I will share with you that we are extremely jealous that Taco Taco has hit the Trinity campus.  Enjoy it!

At this point many of you have accepted leadership positions within organizations on-campus.  Leadership is challenging.  It provides the opportunity to contribute to your organization while also sharpening your own personal skills.  One important aspect of leadership is the role of feedback.  Too often we believe that leaders should only give feedback.  However, the ability to receive feedback is just, if not more important. more>>
