Greetings
and welcome back to the Spring semester. Are you interested in joining a
sorority or fraternity? The final weeks are upon us for this process. Please
refer back to the blog post for specific
information if you have any questions. By this point, you should
have received an e-mail from the Coordinator for Fraternity & Sorority Life
if you did not make the GPA or credit hours requirement for accepting a bid.
Remember to sign up for the master rush
list by 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, January 15 (Men's List or
the Women's List). R.S.V.P. will take
place on Thursday, January 16 from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. in the Woodlawn Room.
Plan to stop by for a few minutes to take part in the process. We will let you
know by noon on Friday, January 17 which organizations have invited you to take
part in the final round recruitment process.
Pref Day, the second
requirement for the process, takes place on Tuesday, January 28 in the Fiesta
Room from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Make sure you stop by for this as well. Greek 201, an important information
session on what to expect during orientation, an overview of hazing and
Trinity’s resources to stop it, and final information on Bid Day, will be
presented at 7:30 p.m. in Laurie Auditorium on Thursday, January 30. If you
cannot make this MANDATORY session because of work or class, you must make
arrangements with Greek Council to complete a makeup session before accepting
your bid. Please e-mail greekcouncil@trinity.edu for more
information. Check out Leeroy, the blog, and the banners in Coates/Mabee for
more information.
