Hello Seniors! It’s finally getting
chilly out, so grab some hot chocolate and snuggle into a nice spot for the
rest of the semester!
There are many wonderful things coming
up for students in the next few weeks, and a lot of them are Trinity traditions
that you may do for the last time as a student.
Sunday, December 7th is a particularly
busy day! It starts out with the Rock n’ Roll Marathon making its way through
campus. Be sure to show your #TigerPride to all of the runners, and pick up
your free t-shirt in Coates during the week! That same day at 6pm will be the
Christmas Vespers service. Join the Trinity community in song as you sing by
the light of candles.
Keep your stomachs still hungry after
Thanksgiving, because after Vespers Trinity will kick-start the annual
Christmas on Oakmont extravaganza! Make your way through the houses of Trinity
employees on Oakmont St. and enjoy holiday goodies and music in each home. It’s
kind of like trick-or-treating but with gingerbread and hot chocolate… and
tamales.
One of our last events before final
exams begin is the Late Night Breakfast. ResLife and other Trinity staffers
will serve you FREE breakfast in Mabee on Thursday December 11th at 11:55pm.
We’ll have all the best breakfast items to get you ready for winter finals.
AND DON’T FORGET! The last First
Friday Breakfast is December 5th. Get free breakfast tacos in the Heidi Lounge
from 7:30am to 10:30am.
Also a quick reminder that the halls
will close for the winter break on Saturday December 20th, and will reopen on
Sunday January 11th, 2015.
Special congratulations to those of
you graduating this semester on Saturday December 20th. You have worked so
hard, and while we will miss you on Trinity’s campus, we know you’ll go on to
do amazing things!
Salud,
Lyndsey Aguilar
